What's a Life Band?

A life band is simply a group of people who are in a similar season of life or who share common interests. Think of them as a different bunches of people held together by a big ol' rubber band. There you have it: life band.

Mothers of Preschoolers
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) meets at Morning Star twice each month (on Friday mornings). We spend time in fellowship with one another, learning from speakers and making crafts—all while enjoying a little break from our preschoolers!  Learn More >>

Single Adult Ministry

Adoption Support Group
The Adoption Support Group provides education and encouragement for those who have expanded their families through adoption . . . and for those who are in the process or considering doing so. For more information, contact Matt Brooks.

Alzheimer's Support Group
For those affected by Alzheimer's disease, this group offers ongoing encouragement and education through guest speakers and activities with the St. Louis Alzheimer's Association. This group meets on the third Sunday of each month at 12:30 pm. To learn more, contact Tracey Rhodes.

Sages
Our 50-something-and-older group motto is "age + knowledge = wisdom." Sages gathers regularly for social events. Contact Prill Etherington for more information.

20-Somethings

If you’re tired of bouncing from place to place just trying to find people you can jive with, we have four exciting flavors to pick from: college, young adult single, young adult married, and young adult married with kiddos.  Drop a line to Pastor Ike for more info. 

Women's Ministry
The mission of our Women’s Ministry is to help women relax from the daily grind, renew their relationship with God, and reconnect with the women of Morning Star Church.  Our events are designed to help us pull away—from noise, hurry, multitasking, and chaos—and grow closer to God through times of worship, teaching, laughter, and celebration.  We welcome women of all ages and stages to participate in our events or be a part of our planning team.
